Under the motto Freedom, Unity, Hope, an invitation is once again extended for communal singing at Römerplatz in Kirchheimbolanden.

The nationwide initiative – supported by politicians, music associations, and churches – has existed for several years and calls for celebrating German Unity Day through song and music, and to gratefully remember the miracle of the Peaceful Revolution and the fall of the Berlin Wall. Given the current crises, candles are intended to set a sign of hope and provide strength to shape the country’s future in unity and harmonious coexistence.

The singing will be led by the Donnersberg District Cantorate, the Cantamus Choir, and the Kirchheimbolanden and Eisenberg Trombone Choirs.

Starting at 6:30 PM, songbooks and candles will be distributed at Römerplatz, before the communal singing begins at 7 PM.
