A quarter of a century full of music, emotions and unforgettable performances – that’s something to celebrate! The Göllheim choir Spirit in Motionunder the direction of Christine Franz, invites you to a very special anniversary concert: “Stand up!”
Founded as a choir project in 2000, the ensemble has firmly established itself over the years. 14 founding members, including the choir director, are still with the choir and, together with the entire choir, look back on an eventful musical journey.
With around 40 singers and a versatile live band, the audience can expect a rousing program full of musical highlights – with songs that move, guarantee goosebumps and invite you to clap along. “Like a Prayer” (Madonna), “Dancing Queen” (Abba) and “My Heart Will Go On” (from the movie Titanic) are just a few of the evening’s highlights. Classics from the very first concert in 2001 – including “Hallelujah” (ESC 1979) and lively hits from Sister Act – will be brought back to life on this special evening.
A professional band, whose members have accompanied the choir for many years, provides the perfect musical backdrop. In addition to piano, guitar, bass and percussion, a violin adds a special touch to the sound.
