The last open Sunday of the year, the October market, is always crowned by a very special highlight in Kirchheimbolanden, the “Suppenlative”. Accompanied by music from Kalli Koppold. 18 different soups, mainly cooked by our restaurateurs, are on offer this year. We are aiming for 600 liters of soup, so that even the latecomers can still get some. Due to the great demand last year, 600 freshly baked steamed dumplings will also be on offer this year. With a salty, crispy crust – delicious with the soup. Also available with vanilla sauce on request. The soup tent on Römerplatz opens between 11:30 am and 12:00 pm, advance sales of soup vouchers start at 9:30 am.

In the old town, around Römerplatz, from 11:00 a.m., self-marketers, farmers, artisans, associations and many others present their offerings at numerous stalls, all in the spirit of regionality and sustainability. For those who don’t like soup, there are numerous stalls with various delicacies. The Tanzsportclub Grün-Weiß will spoil you on the Römerplatz with hot coffee, homemade cakes, delicious crêpes and Spundekäs with pretzels.
