The Stadthalle an der Orangerie in the “small residence” of Kirchheimbolanden has been a popular event venue since it opened in October 2013. Centrally and beautifully located, the Stadthalle an der Orangerie attracts visitors from near and far with a colorful cultural program. With a total area of 419 m² in the large hall, not only the excellent acoustics but also state-of-the-art lighting, sound and stage technology allow the artists to shine. The Stadthalle an der Orangerie Kirchheimbolanden offers space for up to 454 people in the large hall. The spacious and light-flooded foyer offers a great view of the adjoining 18th century orangery, which is currently being renovated and will also be available for events once it is completed. The Stadthalle an der Orangerie Kirchheimbolanden offers the perfect setting for every occasion and is a real gem in the Kleine Residenz Kirchheimbolanden.

The spacious reception area with counter and checkroom leads to the light-flooded foyer. The foyer, which can be connected to the large hall, is perfect for standing receptions, lunches or catering thanks to its access to the outdoor area.

Great Hall

With a total area of 419 m² in the large hall and a stage area of 141 m², there really is nothing left to be desired. A spacious backstage area and inviting checkrooms offer artists an ideal place to enter and retreat. State-of-the-art lighting, sound and stage technology allow the artists to shine. The large hall impresses with its many different seating options, which can accommodate up to 454 seated people. Unseated, the Great Hall can accommodate up to 800 people. Coffee breaks or a revitalizing lunch can be taken in the spacious foyer.

West wing

The west wing is located in the newly renovated Orangery building. Due to its size, it is perfect for smaller events and is ideally connected to the Stadthalle an der Orangerie Kirchheimbolanden. With theater seating, the small hall can accommodate 130 people. It also has a preparation kitchen.

East wing

The east wing with its rustic charm is ideal for art exhibitions and smaller family celebrations.

Delivery

Deliveries are made via a covered delivery area connected to the main hall with a loading ramp for trucks. From here, there is direct access to the backstage and stage areas.

Directions and parking by car

With direct highway access to the A63, the Stadthalle an der Orangerie Kirchheimbolanden is easy to reach.
With the large fairground directly in front of the Stadthalle an der Orangerie Kirchheimbolanden and the nearby parking garage, as well as other parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the Stadthalle an der Orangerie, a total of approx. 450 parking spaces are available. And the best thing is: Parking in the “small residence” is free of charge.

Arrival by train

The options for traveling by train can be found at www.bahn.de and at www.vlexx.de . The train stop in Kirchheimbolanden is located directly at the castle garden. From there you can reach the town hall at the Kirchheimbolanden Orangery on foot in approx. 5 minutes. A detailed map of Kirchheimbolanden can be found at www.stadtplan.net .
